Privacy Policy

This website collects anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (country, site language section visited, page visited, date). No cookies are set and no visitor is tracked or identified across multiple page visits. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (Sec-GPC) signal, your visit is not counted at all.

For rough country identification, the IP address of the request is compared entirely locally on our own server -- it is never transmitted to any third party or external service. It is briefly processed but immediately truncated first: for IPv4, the last number block is removed; for IPv6, only the front portion is kept. It is never stored in full. The truncated address is also deleted immediately after the country lookup and is not stored anywhere. Only the result, e.g. "Switzerland", is stored together with date, language, and page visited, counted anonymously.

This website contains links to external services (OpenStreetMap, Spotify, Buy Me a Coffee, Commercial Register of the Canton of Zug). When you click them, the respective provider’s own privacy policy applies.

For the interactive map, your location is only requested if you explicitly allow it via the corresponding button – this location data is used exclusively locally in your browser to centre the map, and is never transmitted to or stored on our server. The map tiles themselves are provided by CARTO (based on OpenStreetMap data); their own CARTO Privacy Policy applies.
