A rat — standing upright, head turned to the wall — spray-paints its own name onto the stone wall in pink: «Lecsó». A clear reference to Banksy’s famous trademark, the graffiti rat, combined with the Hungarian film title of Pixar’s «Ratatouille» — «L’ecsó» in Hungarian, a pun on the classic Hungarian pepper-and-tomato dish lecsó.

Kolodko didn't stop at the bronze figure: the pink spray paint on the wall is real and part of the installation itself, though by now it has weathered and is only faintly visible.

On the Buda side of Elisabeth Bridge, right on the embankment wall, this tiny figure now sits as a secret street-art artist – a rat immortalising itself.

AddressJust north of the bridge, on the wall facing the street.
